I never shaded until this year and instead of learning cel like my friends I just started to blend color randomly. For finished works I completely abandoned the concept of line art. Sometimes I even make paint doodles like the last pic. https://t.co/lGP9Ox20dT

I absolutely love tiny details in monster hunter being blended well into fantastical designs like hey here's a monster that spews mud from chambers in its snout but its claws are blunt and flat for digging. Tiny things like that bring out a lot of character
