After some faffing, I threw them out entirely and used this old sketch of mine to inspire some boys instead, using a lineless style. Still not that happy with this one but it was helpful in my current quest to simplify and loosen up my human character style!
I love October! I just want to read and draw and collect leaves and eat biscuits. Hoping to find time for some autumnal drawings this month. Here are some from over the past 5 years.
@2ndtimeMama I LOVE these! Also second the recommendation of Cici's Journal. (There is a series of Hilda books)
The Midnight Folk by John Masefield.
Kay has magical midnight adventures while searching for long-lost family treasure! Plenty of witches, pirates, mermaids, and talking animals along the way. Dreamlike and weird and wonderful. (Love this illustration by Sara Ogilvie).
The Littlest Yak by @_lufraser & @hindleyillos. I'm in 💕LOVE💕with Gertie! Look how adorable and little and woolly she is! Rhyming picture book magic.
Booksellers and librarians and other wonderful bookish people! Just a reminder that you can download our THE BOOKSELLER poster here for fun: https://t.co/qqpIRARCG6 (In both UK and US versions, plus one with 'The Librarian' at the top because nice librarians asked me to) 📚
