Hazel's a witch in a city that's moved on beyond magic. As a child she was saved by a police officer during a shooting at her magic school. The shooter went insane because of a glitch in his augmented brain, and she never had the courage to augment herself.

The city is placed under a curse by a witch cult that will turn all tech into nature, killing augmented humans in the process. It's up to Hazel and her Commander to put an end to it.
