There are about 60 species along the US/Mexico border listed as critically endangered. Some are small as shrimp, some are large trees or apex predators, but all of them play an important role in balancing the ecosystem #EndangeredSpeciesDay2020

Ok I think I have something close to the look I want. I like the minimal use of color and letting the line work and blocks of white lead the eye through the piece. I am sure a real background artist could do something much better but at least I have a proof of concept

WIP of another BG test (yes I used reference). Background artists are insane! How do you do this all day??? I am determined to keep experimenting with looks so I trudge on!
