Probably the worst starter in terms of design. Boring, generic, stupid. What is this actually meant to be? This entire gen got screwed over on the starters, at least you eventually got Greninja with Froakie but that’s about it

Same problem as Seel and Dewgong. Arrokuda itself is pretty cute but Barraskewda is just a wasted evolution. If you’re going to evolve a Pokémon then make it actually look different, not just a bigger version of the original

There’s nothing wrong with Seel and Dewgong themselves per se, they’re just utterly lazy. “Let’s make a Seal Pokémon and call it Seel” - “How should the evolution look?” - “Literally the exact same just BIGGER”
