@Pencil_Paladin This is the way I generally do it when I do shade (I am trying to shade less, as most of my inspirations just sketch). Imagine everything is a ball or cube, and you're just shading it depending on where light is supposedly hitting it. I apply shine for appeal where-ever.

@WaffulSyrup Oh and speaking of that, in my head, Captain Syrup is still an Arab pirate woman (Gameboy graphical limitations!), and they DEATHLY underutilized her regardless of that. For shame.
