I spent a ridiculous ammount of time on a 5-frame animation while I listened to the Superstar Saga battle theme on repeat. Belinda belongs to @dbMisadventure and you should go see his stuff, since he's like 1 million times better than me.

Oh yeah, I forgot to post the thing I did when figuing out the whole "blocks" animation movement shantae does. This is going to be a very rare sentance, but I thank the shantae developers for having a pelvic thrust idle animation since it was actually usefull as a movement guide

@Ayoungspirit1 thank you. The most important thing I learned during this is that Shantae is animated block-style - basically, one part at a time was drawn and Shantae was put together in-sequence, with the head likly being the last thing due the hair physics being a huge pain in the ass.

Today, I realised my life would be a lot simpler if I combined/copypasted various shantae costumes into a singular reference. For example, I'd actually have a acurate reference for Shantae's actual legs, arms and neck if I just used the Bikini Blue sprites, and removed the shades

in a #LaMulana2 doodle mood. I don't think I ever doodled the alternate costumes, and I should: they all have unique idle AND cutscene anmations. Also, Lumisa has some incredible hair, like Tiamat from the 1st game. I'm sure Lemeza dissapproves via his excessive laserbeam trauma.

It's finally that time for #LaMulana2 hard mode - I fought the final boss - who has been revamped and is no longer a joke anymore: sure his first 3 phases have Anu-tier health, but in the last phase he has i-frames now and gets to USE all those previous boss attacks.
