4/ Nicknamed "The Last Gunfighter" as the F-8 was the last US fighter with guns as the primary weapon, it had 4 x 20mm cannons below the cockpit. But only 4 victories were attained by the cannons. Most victories were from missiles added (later) to the plane via pylons, etc.
