Completely unrelated subjects, but I'd like to congratulate myself on leveling up in regards to hair and fur. 2009 vs 2017.

The first image was part of an art show I was in during college. I remember the guy next to me getting mad bcuz he said it was a print & not 'real art.'

Hold up, I just remembered I had a DeviantArt lmao. This was from 2004 & my first laptop + mouse. Who was into Hellsing? N-not me, that's for sure. I can't even remember what program I used. Some weird one that was preinstalled.

I've been working on so many other things and portraits honestly make me feel recharged. I still have a lot to catch up on & I'm nearly there!

This is being done entirely in my handmade paint. Primarily pipestone, different types of bloodstone & white clay. More on that later.

Don't mind me. Just super in love with this eye and ear I painted. Having a Pygmalion moment. Just touching up a couple watercolor studies I had left over. All my handmade paint.
