So I mulled over the info for a while trying to decide if it was poor design, poor naming, or more to it, and the Pokèmon Company has been reasonably good at avoiding the first two as the generations have progressed.

Why would they make an inferior cotton pokèmon when Whimsicott nailed it perfectly?

Thanks to everyone who came to cheer @zowl08 and I for our race finale. It was intense to the end with a 7 minute difference on a 20.5 hour long race! We hope to have more races in the future with more @SelectingStart members!
