When posed with the question "How do I make these mundane commonly seen creatures seem fantastical and monstrous for a video game?" I went with the age old solution of "slap a third eye on it and call it a day"

Some Last Dream II sprites and portraits I made for some Templar/Paladin NPCs. The bottom two are twins so it was a fun challenge to try and make them look different with separate personalities but not so different you couldn't tell they actually have identical faces
