Been doodling today, mostly playing around with trying to figure out some more simplistic designs for Cass and Glare along with some style tweaks that might make animating them a bit easier.

Today I gave designing a unique gun for Cassidy a go, the idea is it's meant to fire Dragonfire rounds, being bullets created from the magical energy of Dragons. Going to work on it some more but I think it's a good starting point.

Played around with a more casual aesthetic for Glare, his usual design might be a bit too much when he is meant to be "hanging out" but wearing full combat gear and a skull helmet.

Designed some fantasy City Watch outfits today just for a quick and fun design to do. Might use them for some DnD stuff or some other tabletops if I get the chance.

After drawing out the mentor idea I thought it would be fun to do a short one-page comic based on the idea. Just as a teaser here is the first completed panel. I decided to try doing a lineless style for it.

I tried coming up with some different ideas. I ended up with the ridiculous idea of Aengus being a weird uncle like mentor to a kid. Wanting to become a villain she unleashes an ancient evil, that isn't actually evil but doesn't want to disappoint the kid. So they prank heroes.
