AND THAT’S IT! Thank you all for joining me this #WomensHistoryMonth. Seems like there won’t be new comics for a minute, so join me this April where I post recommended comic stories you can read till new issues drop. Join me for #QuarantinedQuintessentials tomorrow!
For the LAST day of Women’s History we have, JESSICA DREW AKA SPIDER-WOMAN! Genetically enhanced and given super-powers by HYDRA, Jessica reformed and became a SHIELD agent, then an Avenger and an Agent of SWORD. Still not a fan of her new costume. #WomensHistoryMonth
One time the JLA went back a million years in the past where Plastic Man was frozen and shattered. When they went back to regular times Firestorm and Atom found all of his shattered pieces scattered across the ocean and put him back together. Dude can’t be killed. https://t.co/B3P7rmWuF5
Day 29: JESSICA JONES! Private investigator, retired superhero, married to Luke Cage and the mother of Danielle Cage. Little known fact: she was supposed to be Spider-Woman but Marvel told Bendis no so he made a new character. Played by @Krystenritter #WomensHistoryMonth
Day 28: JANE FOSTER! A nurse who helped Thor and eventually fell in love with him. Despite being diagnosed with breast cancer she took up the mantle of Thor when he was no longer deemed worthy, and eventually became the new Valkyrie. Played by Natalie Portman. #WomensHistoryMonth
Day 26: JESSICA CRUZ aka GREEN LANTERN! Struggling with PTSD after witnessing the deaths of her friends, Jessica was possessed by the Ring of Volthoom. After conquering her fears and breaking free of Volthoom's grasp, Jessica was chosen to be a Green Lantern. #WomensHistoryMonth
Day 25: STARFIRE! Former warrior Princess Koriand'r of the now-destroyed planet Tamaran, Starfire found a new home on Earth and a new family in the Teen Titans. Fun loving, bubbly, and wears her heart on her sleeve, Starfire is a favorite in the DC continuity. #WomensHistoryMonth
