But I've been thinking, HOW are they going to do Hulkling? He isn't a Hulk at all. The only REASON he was called Hulkling was that he resembled one. I don't see the regular audience liking someone named "Hulkling" who isn't connected to the actual Hulk. And then it hit me... 7/🧵

#WandaVision introduced Wiccan and Speed. We've also seen America Chavez, Kate Bishop, Kid Loki, Patriot, and soon Stinger, so we know Young Avengers are coming. And with Wiccan we KNOW that Hulkling is coming in some way, shape or form. 6/🧵

As it turns out none of the characters were as they seem. Asgardian was not Asgardian at all. Iron Lad was actually Kang and Patriot got his powers from Mutant Growth Hormones. Hulkling was the weirdest of all, he isn't a Hulk at all, he's a gawdamn Super-Skrull/Kree Hybrid. 4/🧵

Bendis got a hold of him and decided "You know what Imma make him a mafia boss." and there you have it. The story was originally about the bad guy becoming better but then it became "Guns & magic are cool". But the point of him was that he was a regular guy underneath. That's it.
