Here is the original concept art Marcus did for Shadow, as well as many of the revisions of his sprite I did. The bottom sprite in the middle will be used in game. However, as you can see, many other attempts were done before we came to it, including Marcus OG Classic design.

Introducing our new Shadow design for Resistance! This promo art was made by @saturn_sent, and the design by the talented @MarcusLarry627! Shadow is one of the playable characters we haven't revealed until now. We have 1 more, but they are a secret for now.
