The first volume of Donny Cates' Venom is a lot of fun. Although there's a lot of set-up and exposition, the story never bored me. All the new lore is great. I loved the connection to Aaron's Thor run. I'm excited to see Eddie's character explored more in the next books!

I've just finished Rick Remender's run on Venom. It was a blast! I never gave me a second to breath and the villain in form of Jack O'Lantern is terrifying as it can get. There are some weaker points, namely the last arc, but it's still a great contained run that I can recommend!
