@franzanth It’s pretty hit-or-miss, honestly. It can generate some really neat stuff, but the more specific you try to get, the worse the results. If I ask it for a crab wizard, for example, it kinda panics. The result is interesting, but not crab?
@franzanth Just for you, I had Midjourney make some cartoon crab sprites. It’s not real clear on where the claws go, but it’s trying.
Lazlo tried to use laudanum instead of vermouth and woke up three days later, in a back room at the British Museum with a cheap imitation ushabti figurine in his mouth. His hair never fully recovered.
If you ignore the usual horrifying hands and the way she has apparently turned into a parrot, this is pretty solid.
ETA: Putting the “chaos” function up makes things weirder again. (Walter was the first two, Lazlo the second two.)
I ran my own name as a control. Ursula Vernon was nearly the same as no artist name, but ursulav was wildly different, while also looking nothing like my art.
You can get some good stuff, with enough patience.
Or…y’know…this happens.
Ok, I actually really like her. It doesn’t quite know how to handle the shell on an anthro turtle, turned it into a weird butt-shield, but this one could be fixed up with a minimum of grunt-work.
The next adventure is in the sewers. Will the party survive an onslaught of Enraged One-Fingered Chibi Axolotl Cultists?
