Back on my own kitchen and the dough decided it didn't want to cooperate, but I dealt with it.

"I made you a Salad" is where I got more lax, with source code available for anyone to modify (you can extract the ROM with 7zip or WinRAR) but it still lacked any assets people would want for a fangame outside of the background.

Ever wondered why this ROM hack even existed in the first place? With the goal of replacing every asset with something completely new? I think it's more clear than ever.
A shame it's largely forgotten despite winning a contest, but that's a story for another time.

A direct consequence of this was me stopping with any creation of assets that could be used for fangames, I became more reserved when it came to that sort of deal and would only do stuff when I knew you couldn't mistake it for any other game and were easily called out for it.

Extended sprites for Knuckles from Sonic Pocket Winter, Boom Sonic, unamused Title screen sonic.
The frequency of these spread out with no mention not even of the project they came from isn't right, even if unintentional... ROM hackers and fangame creators are people too!
