On this day in 1994, Mehdi Dibaj was abducted and martyred for his faith. He was an Iranian pastor who had been imprisoned for 10 years. Five months after his release, Dibaj was abducted and killed. His life is an example of living in daily commitment to Christ, even unto death.

On this day in 1972, Watchman Nee died in prison.

God used Nee's work in China to create a system of underground churches that has survived and grown over the past 50 years. Many have come to know Christ through his ministry. Pray for the underground church in China.
