A cutesy look would be the perfect fit for a taunt.

As for why I randomly bring this up, outside of Triple Battles being prominent in BW+2 (and I guess XY)...?

Triple battles actually originated from a series of official arcade games on arcade machines prior to appearing in gen 5 proper: Pokemon Battrio.

It used special pucks to affect which Pokemon can be used, and it spanned through all of gen 4 and most of gen 5.

With the recent announcement of #PokemonBrilliantDiamondShiningPearl, the remakes of #PokemonDiamondPearl, Black/White is next in line for remakes!
