I did end up finishing this thing! I may make it a bit darker in post.
Keeping things symmetrical when painting traditionally is a hassle, even with a perfectly even digital sketch.
Next step: back cover, and typesetting. I hope I can escape the torment of handlettering.

A quick little scribbly sketch that might make you laugh!

Renaud adored cats when he was alive. It was his only redeeming quality. Just one small problem... the cats absolutely HATE HIM.

Made a watercolour & acryl-gouache version of that one mouse linocut I carved last year! I always thought the sketch had more potential. :D
