This version looked more like a "spell card" and in order to look more like a "creature card", I had to trim some of the things I loved about this painting.

Still my favorite version if I have to choose one.

Her design, even tho you barely see her in the final, this is quite helpfull for me in the sketch phase to block out the main shapes and colors faster.
