aaand, last move

neutral b was originally going to be a chargeable move that'd have 3 stages -- fireball, fire kick, and a huge hadoken that'd lead to combos

im hoping i can fix it to be like that in the future, but for now i moved the second stage to down b

i wanted fidget to have a fast projectile that could harass the opponent from across the stage (so he could cover all ranges), and it's closest to mario's custom fireball in smash 4

it's kinda awkward and i had to resize it cuz it was too small but it works well enough?

up b and side b are basically the same except in different directions

i wanted to give fidget flight, but free flight would be kinda boring so i just gave him vertical and horizontal momentum

on paper i would've expected them to be kinda boring anyway? but --

fun fact!! fstrong was the absolute last move that i created

i was having a bit of trouble deciding what to do with it bc he already felt like a finished character, so i made it a move with massive startup and knockback as a fun read move

it's also based on a neat concept --

i remember back when i posted my first(?) fidget pic on here with the fire kick, there were some comparisons between fidget and ken, and i absolutely had to add this one in

due to it launching fidget in the air, this move has a few weird properties --

utilt... is just kinda there? i found myself not using it much in test matches bc it felt kinda slow despite the importance of getting opponents in the air with fidget

it was meant to be kinda like marth utilt, except faster and cooler, doubling as an anti air and combo move

dtilt was a basic sword combo starter that wasn't really based on one move, though can be compared to corrin/ike dtilt

i felt that his kit lacked a grounded ranged spacing tool so it was meant to fill that gap

is also nice to pick up opponents di'ing away from jab

ok time to continue, onto ground moves

dash attack is based totally on mii gunner dash attack, which is a move i've found strangely cool/satisfying?

im really happy with how this move looks, esp in motion
