I think I'm going to do a character "deep dive" for a while, where I tell a character's story over a couple of posts in one thread.

So then, let me start with this:

Deep Dive: Veluren Thanazel. 1/14

I decided it was time to put some more effort into this lad - his name is Lei-Shi, he's an eastern dragon (pending a redesign to make him more long and noodly)

He and his species guard the lake that leads to the "nexus" of afterlives.

@DragonsAndDraw Since you mentioned being straight I'll throw my ladies at you. You got an 18ft dream goddess, a snuggly innkeeper, a fighty sharkess, and a vampire (literal) bat.

@CharuStar The spacey bits on Vel's wings are souls he's harvested and kept with him, without any, his wings are empty.

Also, I don't have any art of it yet, but his right wing is fake and removeable, once it's off, the flesh and bone turns into cloth and becomes a grim reaper's cloak.
