They seem to only exist in thunderstorms or under a blanket of clouds, so a lot about them is unknown. They are reportedly smaller than Hoenn Wailord however, and possibly shares the same diet as one. Perhaps it dips into the water from time to time?

This elusive variant is said to have originated from Hoenn Wailord floating off into the clouds above when humans were overhunting them long ago. If you're in an airplane, you might just see one breaching in the sea of clouds.
