It's a minor goal of mine to have a cel of every character I cosplay that it's possible to have a cel of, and this is one that I thought would be close to impossible. Night on the Galactic Railroad is one of my favorite anime films of all time. Hell yes.

But yeah "people that look like people" was the main draw for me because like... This was the American cartoon most popular with young teens at the time vs the anime I liked best at the time

5. In hindsight Kino's Journey was probably the first time I had ever seen a character Just Say No to being gendered and oh boy. Loved that. Also just loved the melancholy tone, the varying lengths of story, Kino really do be kino.
