He looks like cat, but he's monstrous creature named "Beyrevra". He metamorphoses when his master is in danger to defend him, excellent bodyguard & ruthless predator. Nero is the only tame Beyrevra, offered by Satan to Phoenix to protect him.

The two have a very stormy relationship because of their past. The over-protective side of Satan annoys the mercenary who only seeks to be free to do what she sees fit. Their relationship will improve over time.

Phoenix very quickly took Ariane under his wing, treating her like a little sister & even overprotecting her from Satan's decisions about her. Both love to hang out together, drink & annoy the Emperor. Phoe also teases her into dating Satan.

Satan & Phoenix are close friends. The emperor was literally saved by him when he was dispossessed of his throne and sentenced to death. Phoenix was always attracted to him & never hid him, although Satan constantly repelled him.

Lilith & Satan are a free couple, although the ruler rarely has any other affair, the queen has many partners, including Belzébuth. But, their relationship turns out to be less innocent than it seems.
