April 2020 releases from @ArchieComics dropped yesterday and guess who did a cover for Vampironica #4 (of 4)!! Below, the final cover, scanned inks, and initial rough.

Hey #PortfolioDay, I’m Vic and I draw comics... shadowy crime stuff for the most part, but not always. Have worked on a few novel adaptations (Joe Hill’s Thumbprint, Jim Thompson’s The Killer Inside Me). Working on the Netflix Narcos comic at the moment.

@JasonCopland It turned out good! You never know, you might sell it, plus its easier to get those abstract shapes/edges traditionally. I sold this Roche Limit page a few years ago (95% black ink)

Need more of The Goddamned by @jasonaaron r.m. Guera and Giulia Brusco. What a great book! Even better in this oversized hardcover.

The latest Corto Maltese reprint from @eurocomics_us finally has some Hugo Pratt sketches/designs/watercolours. So many of the various editions published around the world have them. I was getting a bit jealous. I dig the contextual essay too.
