Conceptual pitch: have Jon and Garfield played by the same person. Don't even make the voices different and lean into that "Garfield Minus Garfield" idea of Jon being a pathetic man who is functionally talking to himself constantly.

Bruce's original design for STAS goes full Schuster/Fleischer with his look and a hybrid of this and the JL look would be my ideal Superman

@JTuckerAnimator @Thomas_Dreyfuss I always read it as a Schuster/Fleischer nod, what with Batman getting those Detective Comics 27 ears... I can see how that Swan-ish, distinguished aging got lost in translation but I appreciate the attempt!
