You can say whatever you want about Mobius 25 Years later, but you have to admit that Knuckles looks amazing

Since IDW is now canon, i hope we can see these characters in the games, not only as playable, but also as part of the story, and maybe even fight against them as bosses.
imagine a boss fights for them

Sonic The Comic didn't had to go this hard with their original characters, but they did.
Shame that, from my understanding, all of them have legal issues.
