know what's lovely. the gentleness in the ending of the fireworks episode of the moomin anime, where it seemingly parallels nana and her fiance with these two a few shots later.

I adore the little plant-creatures woodies from mv19, but it's also very neat how the 90s woodies are from the book illustration (but with the addition of little tails!)

altho the raccoon mask on that middle one got interpreted as a unibrow lol

oh, and the crowd scenes from 90s moomin are just as gorgeous! the fact they obviously had model sheets so there's consistency in the residents. every event looks so populated!
