@yzzydoor @VGArtAndTidbits TBF the final boxart also used art from the anime. Heck, IIRC the anime was made to promote the game, hence why Nightmare is the series' central antagonist despite only ever appearing in Kirby's Adventure and NiDL (which is just a remake of Adventure).

Eyyy posting at a more reasonable time of day for myself for day 3 of #EizoukenWeek2020. Ironically I ended up getting art block for the prompt ABOUT art block, and eventually just decided to portray how I myself felt in the moment (reuploaded because I forgot to tag the image).

For Day 2 of #eizoukenweek2020, I decided to invoke some memories of my own childhood: as a kid I loved sticking my arm out and watching how light and shadows were cast on it in places like a raindrop-covered window or chain-link flooring on a playground set.
