red i love u but ur colors are ugly and i wouldn't be surprised if the artist took the NES ones and called it a day. also what is that hat. that's not a hat, that's a weird bicycle seat. scarlets design is beautiful but reds a bit bland

the power of the gradient map clipped to the shading is u can change the lighting by simply editing the gradient (tho obv i did some goofing around w/ some of these but its the same shading layer!)

timelapse tho the process varies (the concept is b/w rendering w/ a gradient map clipped to it put over flats)

testing new rendering technique on some oc headshots

only just learned u can change the warp points on the mesh transform tool and THATS SO MUCH BETTER AAA (tip: if ur warping smth strip-shaped always rotate it to be str8 vertical or horizontal b4 starting the mesh transform, lines up the points better)
