"BUT WHAT ABOUT ULTRAMAN USA AND THE ULTRAMAN"

Yes, they exist and have their fans who'd want to see them. But from the standpoint of the storyline, as well as just general promotional priority? They don't work for this game.

Because this way, you get to test the waters for the franchise with a far more manageable show/storyline, promote Season 2 of the anime, it *doesn't* take over the main storyline, and fulfills another dream team-up for fans since it and SSSS.GRIDMAN have cross-promoted before.

I'm so happy that THE RETURN OF ULTRAMAN is now available on @tokushoutsu and @ShoutFactoryTV. It's one of the all-time greats, with some of the most beautifully shot moments of the franchise.
