@organ_knight It's well drawn with out a doubt, but it has a real plastic feel to it. Something like his earlier Dragon Quest art is more up my alley, though this piece is in a transition period between bubbly and boxy it still has enough round and characteristics, mostly in the hair and faces

In order to draw like Monkey Punch I have to snort his ashes once per week, if I skip it I'll start drawing what ever the hell this is.

This also kind of stretches out in to generally Toriyama style art (not neceserally drawn by him but looks like his stuff), but I dislike it when the characters have a plastic looking sheen on their hair.

I LOVE TORIYAMA'S LIMITED COLOR PALLETS!!! I LOVE IT WHEN HE USES VARIANTS OF JUST TWO TO THREE COLORS!!!!

Something that impresses me here is that Chris knew about detail reduction for smaller objects when drawing this (sonichu medallion doesn't have a face)
