Alexandria changed so much since late 2016. Keep in mind, my artwork used to be anime inspired. Alexandria was the character that pulled me out of it. This first drawing was the first time I stepped out of that comfort zone, and the last is the results of the past few years.

Drew my favorite Pokémon of the new starters, Sobble, hanging out with my favorite starter of all, Mudkip. :)

it's really fucking trash, but he's my first sketch of 2019. Had an urge to draw in an "anime" art style and I just can't do it well at all 😂

I'll go back to my normal art style tomorrow lol

I was kinda dumb and zoomed to far into the canvas, so it's not as high quality as I'd like. Still, I like it!

Also, roughly used the pose from this first reference and her outfit from the second.

Don't know the first thing about animation, but tried to animate Lilie a bit. Fun to mess around with, but I know it's not very good and I would love to learn more about how to animate!

Here's the three on their own. I think Swampert is the one the turned out the best, which is funny because I nearly scraped the whole thing out of frustration from drawing him.
