They were practically engaged when she ended up being in the wrong place at the wrong time during the Mutant outbreak.

Needless to say they arent together anymore since she's no longer herself, without much hope of saving

Toshi and Kyndra are another pair.

They met on a planetary trip to Nexo as the Q.B needed fuel. Kyndra's family horde was wiped out and the only other choice would of been to leave her with another. Toshi didn't feel the situation was right and rescued her moments before launch

Kasumi and Ben is always my favorite 2 to talk about.
