Japan has taken an alternate route, usually either giving them pig features, based on their original art from Dungeons and Dragons, or horns, making them more like onis. ...and if they're a woman they might just be a green lady.
The evolution of orc design is fascinating. They go from Tolkien's small goblins to D&D's giant brutes, then Warhammer gives them green skin and tusks and once WoW copies it, that becomes the default and the paradigm doesn't shift again till the modern day.
@EvilViergacht Aw, their babies with Drow! My personal favorite art of those ones was this piece. Some old book I had actually ripped this art off to represent a wendigo.
I don't like this painting. Its smug aura mocks me.
(the original artist seems to have been lost in the internet depths, so if anybody knows who it was, it would be nice to share)

Haven't been able to post this on Sunday like I normally do, so here's a surprise Monday post! This one added CRABS!
I'm not sure I have enough to say about Tyranids and the Zerg types individually (least not Tyranids), so what do you think of a comparison article?
Since @KamenRider is trending, which season has your favorite monsters? I'm personally partial to the stained glass themed Fangires from Kiva and the stony Orphnochs from Faiz, but I also love how uncanny the Lords and Yummy could get.
@chrisms_art I'm not sure how many are really that dark, but I have a million monsters in me.
