Usually what gravitates me to a fighting game character is their design.
The visual appeal catches my attention first and foremost and I end up maining said characters once I mess around with them a bit in Training or Arcade
Some Examples: https://t.co/89yCjv4ekM
@Wario64 For the Wario fans, Antonball Deluxe and Duke Dashington Remastered
@Wario64 For my DKC homies, I HIGHLY recommend Marsupilami Hoobadventure & Kaze and the Wild Masks
Both play really damn well, the former more akin to Retro's DKC duology, and the latter pays homage to the DKC Rare Trilogy with a bit of Rayman sprinkled in
Ya know who would be cool to reference as a boss in future indie games though
Smash Daisaku from Gunstar Heroes. He looks cold and calculated but he is a GOOFBALL with a jetpack and stretchy kicks this man is a TOON https://t.co/CDEwzEUzSx
Rombul
He can actually punch hard enough to cause people to pixelate https://t.co/dvw3ppUN2h
@Craditrio His name is Big Bastard Billy, his real name being Billy Bumberhooten
and yeah I had Bearhugger in mind when designing him, he was initially a joke character who likely wouldn't have existed had I not been in a friend's server
Wanted to start off this year strong drawing my favorite designs I made in 2022
Knuckler E & Paddler Q
Blatz
Tartar & Seaweed
Big Bastard Billy & Brick Shithouse
Love them alot https://t.co/kGq7S2S8sz
Beat DQ8
Was a blast, really glad I started with this as my first DQ game, glad Smash gave me a push years back to get into it.
