I would disagree, although the Mario and Luigi games have a really good and detail artwork, I think the one made by Nakawe has a innocence and simplicity to it that encapsulates the characters and the series it self pretty well

It looks good, you got the shape of her hair, I'm gonna give you an advice
Don't start directly with the line art, it's bound to look off

Use basic shapes to do the basic sketch and then start working out from there, as you get better and better you won't need that many shapes
