Many changes are still needed, but I'll need to reduce the document size because my computer freezes for a while every time I make an adjustment.
This is the most detail I've ever put into a digital painting. If I knew I was going to spend as much time on it as I did, I would have figured out some lighting reference and drawn better perspective lines. I never finished up the background, but maybe I'll get to it later.
Some works in non-progress from the past year. Mostly just exploring styles, but I've been focusing more on outlining the story lately.
@paolini @thatstarwarsgrl @rickriordan This is possibly the most steep downgrade from source material I've ever seen. Everything that could go wrong, went wrong. Jeff Bridges was the best thing about it and it was his worst performance ever.
@nashotobi I was inspired by Patrick Arrasmith's scratchboard illustrations for "The Spook's Apprentice" series which has very precise lines. For the Solomon Kane drawing I looked at Gary Gianni's work in the pulp collection. I need to do a bigger Solomon Kane drawing sometime.
