If you missed my drawing, you still have chance to get an original Martha Washington pin-up from Give Me Liberty in an charity auction by some young punk named Arthur Adams. Auction ends July 1st so think fast. :-)

Barbara Remington has caught the last ship out of the Gray Havens. She painted the original Ballentine paperback covers for The Lord of the Rings, seen by millions. The covers I remember best. Thanks for everything. Ms Remington. Godspeed.

Somebody on FBook asked me which issues of the comic were included in the Artist's Edition. I didn't know but stumbled across a review of the book that says the stories included in this volume are Star Wars issues 51, 52, 55, 56, 57 and 60 from the Marvel run 1981/82.
Simonson and Palmer Artist's Edition of our Star Wars work from the early 80s from IDW. Came out at the San Diego Con; available now. You know you want one. ;-)
This is pretty cool. Not new to the web, apparently, but new to me. John Byrne and I were chatting today on the phone. He told me he had once sketched a Darth Vader without mask & helmet. About 2.5 inches high. I thought it looked great. :-)
