Between all the tweets and the layout, look at all the effort I put into an April Fool’s bit. But I wouldn’t have bothered if the love and passion weren’t real. Circe deserves no less 💖
Realizing that the banishment and imprisonment was the wrong way to deal with Circe’s evil, Wonder Woman resolves to take her back to Paradise Island, where she can then be reformed on Transformation Island.
Circe made her grand DC debut in the pages of Wonder Woman (1942) #37, in the story, “The Secrets of Circe”
This is her only Golden Age appearance.
And technically it wasn’t even mentioned in Yara’s book, it was just a bit part in one of her two training montage pages 😭
Cassie Sandsmark, Wonder Girl.
Kara Zor-El, Supergirl.
Stephanie Brown, Batgirl.
Courtney Whitmore, Stargirl.
DC’s Blonde Squad
Oh wow
Amazons Attack was ASS
And so much more. An infuriating jumbled mess that butchered characterizations, left its world a mess and me seething with every turn of a page. One of the worst reading experiences of my life, and it’s good that DC never acknowledges it.
I know this isn’t actually Athena but still, fuck ALL THE WAY off
I’d been wondering where Artemis and Philippus were in the middle of all this but then they showed up and did nothing but wish something would be done. I’m sick. https://t.co/WdNdKE7rgR
