Read A Radical Shift of Gravity by @NickTapalansky and @katiecrimespree and what a delight it was. Family and change and world altering kablooey. Not too heavy and not too light. It's sweet and quiet and hit a lot of the right notes for me. Really recommend.
Deep into Crossed lately. I'm 60+ issues in and all I can think is that it really should be called Trigger Warning for the endless fire hose of taboo/gross/disturbing shit that keeps happening. But... the compelling survival stories keep coming too. Very VERY qualified recommend.
Read Cow Boy by @NateCosby and @ChrisEliopoulos and boy what an awesome, unexpected joy it was. I can't remember the last time that words and pictures worked came out of nowhere to work so well together. Definitely recommend.
Then again he did smack down that fig tree just because he was hangry so maybe they're identifying with hangry Jeebus more than Eight Pound, Six Ounce, Newborn Infant Jesus, don't even know a word yet, just a little infant, so cuddly, but still omnipotent...
Read the first couple of issues of Juggernaut by @FabianNicieza and @RonGarney and I have to say it's pretty good. No too deep. Not too shallow. Just right. Will be keeping up with this one.
