I finally bought @aseprite and the #pixel_dailies theme is #metallic. Kind of had to go with Metal #knuckles really! #pixelart

My case for tan arms is simple, it makes Sonic's actions and poses easier to read. Sonic runs and jumps. His arms cross over his body constantly. Having his arms be a different colour provides contrast and makes them easier to identify - especially from the side. It's functional.

Going to attempt a Classic Sonic in the airburshed style. So far I've done a pencil sketch and flatted out all of the key areas with what's probably way too many layers.

Psst, this Sonic IDW comic for the 30th anniversary is also really good and you should go buy it from your local comic shop or Comixology. It's a standalone adventure, you don't have to have read any other IDW comics to enjoy it.
