Mushroom charts. The first one is by Cavallini; I featured their fruits and vegetables charts recently. The third one, from 1912, shows a collection of poisonous mushrooms and their edible counterparts.

I love the wind. The sun is joy, the rain is sadness—but the wind: mystery. The tumultuous firs in TWIN PEAKS, the windswept park in BLOW-UP. There’s a hint of menace. Swiss painter Félix Vallotton (1865-1925) captured the sinister disquiet of a windy landscape especially well.
