A general approach to character design.Breakdown of a component of my design class final that I'll be going over. Style Is invader Zim I did not watch the show growing up so i had to take some time to learn it! preliminary studies and character process that I'm still tweaking!

Some sketches/studies this morning! The two black girls were based on Pinterest models, but I need to polish up the one in the orange crop top :) The other two are from a new character Im designing.

Sketched up these sea monsters while waiting for my students to get a rough done of their projects to go over today . I gotta work on the birds

Two completely different things, I got really involved with my Gypsy dancer umbrella prop, working at it. Also revisited an old character and cleaned up its design, Kaya! you can find Kaya in the book I worked on, Imagine and Daydream on Amazon btw :)

Another dtiys WIP using lots of shapes! But I lost the OG artist! I think it was a hashtag I clicked on, so if anyone sees a green haired with with lots of purple and holding a tea with succulents, lmk!

Another dtiys to get back into drawing , healed up from covid. Have a cough and no taste or smell but strength has returned! Sorry for the phone Pic!

cant sleep cuz I had a soda and a coffee ! So I doodled up some poses of the acorn girl

Another revisit of an old character from around 2018 I think , little acorn girl. Restylized the shapes, silhouettes and pose for more curve, bounce and overall cuteness ! Procreate

Finished DeepWater Sirens illustration! Lots of fun colors and a darker more creature-y then pretty mermaid/siren take. Something you would find much deeper in the ocean perhaps?

An updated overtop drawing(The new one is on the right, the "scarier" mermaid/siren/sea witches/etc). I think the "prettier" one was done in...2014 maybe? But I wanted to add a bit of spice. ROUGH SKETCH in procreate! Gonna go get some chocolate and finish it up :)
