I'm starting to realize I can't really choose a favorite #winxclub member, but Musa wins for most iconic. She literally b*tch-slaps the main antagonist for talking shit. Amazing.

Hey! It's Bloom on my #winxredesign kick! By day, she's an artsy type trying to find her place in the world of Magix, but when she transforms, she embodies the mix of "magical girl" and "superhero" that I loved about Winx Club as a kid! 🦋

Next #winxclub redesign is Flora, historically my favorite Winx member! I always connected with her "shy but sweet" demeanor, so I played up both in her design. I also loved the idea of her fairy form acting as a confidence boost; Flora can be truer to herself as one with nature!

This is a @KrystinaArielle appreciation post. I'm so happy I reached out to ask her if she was okay with fan art of her - as you can see, I've drawn plenty in the months since then! But more important than that, I've made an awesome, honest, kind and insightful friend!

Redesigning #winxclub characters, starting with Aisha. I'll never forgive how whitewashed she became in later seasons. Before Tiana in 2009, this girl *was* representation for young Black girls who dreamed of being fairy princesses.
