@Proton_Jon And my last art possibly for the stream and for game clearing as a whole- I started the year off with a Donkey Kong spiritual successor, and it felt right to finish with DKC Returns 3D, since the game had a whole new world of levels to play, hence the Aladdin spoof.
@Proton_Jon And next on the list is Stinkoman 20X6, which I, like many other Homestar fans, was finally able to finish last year considering last year was when the GAME was finally finished. And to honor the development time it took, I parodied the "it's been 3000 years" meme.
@Proton_Jon And for the last batch of game clearing art, things start off with an accurate representation of my time with Star Fox SNES. I tried playing legit, but the game was kicking my butt and I just didn't have the patience for it.
@Proton_Jon And for a three for two post, Kirby Super Star for the SNES was cleared and the only positive thing from Joy-Con drift to ever happen was Kirby jumping on Rocky forever without input. And Kirby's Dream Land 3 and Link to the Past got combined since... (1/2)
@Proton_Jon And for yet more related games, I cleared Super Mario 3D All Stars, where sadly the most standout thing is the stupid limited release. And Mario All Stars for SNES, where I remember just being done with Mario 2 at points and using rewind features on the game.
@Proton_Jon And for two more fittingly relevant game clears, I played the original Donkey Kong Arcade trilogy as well as Mario and Sonic at the London 2012 Olympics. Cranky's happy his grandson played some real games, and DK's an expert mechanic who fixed Omega.
@Proton_Jon Going a bit out of order for the posts, but these three fit a theme of licensed games for my game clearing. First is Steven Universe Save the Light, a decently fun RPG game and Peridot's jump animation reminds me of the Luigi/Yoshi flutter jump (1/2)
