Today has been a good day. After a frustrating start I managed to get the sculpt for the leg armor done. Next up: chestpiece.

Got the virus without actually having the virus. Been knocked out with almost every symptom that is possible, yet every test I do comes out negative so far.
Current project on hold for this week.

Blender tries to repair the UVs if u remove and add vertices again. However in this case it created me something interesting ...
Oh yeah, teaser for the sword I am currently blocking out.

With the new pants, her entire armor is now successfully refurbished! Pics with the full set will come later.
I split it up several parts to get used to the workflow and also to make her outfit more flexible. 🐺

Base coat of paint done (don't mind the clipping), details and the stylized look will soon follow. 🐺
Hitting the right colors and materials is quite hard. I know I have artistic freedom but I want to stick as close to the original as possible.

Pants and armor are shaping up nicely (reference on the right).
Lots of details can and will be done by texturing so it saves me alot of time during sculpting. 🐺

It is done! After 20+ hours I can consider the chest piece finished for now. It was definitely a challenge and I learned alot along the way. Pants and Weapon are left to do! 🐺
